good idea Hi SS,
I was just talking to someone about this very challenge--it is cost prohibitive for many of us, not to mention that many of us are too sick to travel. To stage a local protest on the same day might be a way around it...we need to find out about others who may be suffering right in our own neighborhoods. I am thinking of putting out flyers to local health food stores and/or on bulletin boards and leave an anonymous email address for them to contact me.
Here is an idea that I think has been thrown around before...a rep from each state. We could all write in here to poll where we live, then decide on one person from each state to take on the task of somehow finding out who is in our area...I am from Alexandria Virginia and I just met a nurse from Maryland who is suffering from this too. Maybe if we all brainstormed on this..?
The other day, my daughter and I wrote on a helium balloon [given with an easter present] and let the balloon sail away...on the balloon I had written this anonymous email acct and asked if they had any of these symptoms to contact me... we had a good laugh about getting the news out there this way...lol
