Katinka,
Thanks! Can you say OCD like mom and dad! A learned behaivor that is not always bad, routine routine routine, is great for kids right? LOL, ohhh well.
Update, MY SON NO LONGER TOUCHES HIS FACE ALL THE TIME!!!!!
I would have to constantly tell him "Stop touching your face, stop picking your lips!" It never failed I would turn around 2 seconds later and catch him hands back on face!! Now I haven't seen him touch his face in 3 days maybe more! We don't see him itching his body either! Ohhh, did I give this to my child=(!? Sometimes this world can be a cruel cruel place. He has never had energy issues, we do keep him on a very strict organic diet and little to no junk food. He does not gain weight like the other kids, so he is still on organic whole milk 2 or 3 cups a day. He doesn't look too thin but he keeps growing taller n taller, the Pediatrician says he is just fine, not to base weight on current childrens scale bc he does not eat the average grocery store food and/or fast food, junk food, sugar drinks or soda. He gets G2 Gatorade, Perdialite, Organic OJ (real sugar, less than 8oz a day), and he will ask for veggies or fruit before he will ask for anything else.
I hope this helps give some idea of the DE in children. His mood has never been an issue but his memory has been getting better not that he wasn't already soaking things up daily ( is 3 and in pre- K), but he has an easier time sitting still and reading for longer periods of time, just a little more relaxed, not calm just relaxed.
XOXO,
Meg
