I think that before we take advice on not taking hot baths in salt, h202, etc. we should know this for sure. I have been taking baths (2x/wk) and my feeling is that the hot water and salt dries, not adds moisture to the skin/lesions. Hot water is heat. Then I dry off thoroughly and apply DSP. Sorry, but I think they do more good than harm and I'll need a lot more evidence before I stop them.
As to weather (cold vs. warm), you can have moist air in the cold and you can have dry air, depending on how close to water you live. This applies to any season.
