Feeling Alone Hi niecy! "This day in honor I have toiled;
My shining crest is still unsoiled;
But on the mile I leave behind
Is one who says that I was kind;
And someone hums a cheerful song
Because I chanced to come along. Sweet rest at night that man shall own
Who has not lived his day alone."
"Morgellons" can isolate people to the point where they feel very much alone.
Especially for those of us that don't have family or friends who believe them or support them.
Last week I found out that one of my closest friends has Morgellons. I dropped out of our circle of friends four years ago. Last year, when I started to feel better I tried to call her. I left messages and she never called me back. (similar to years ago when she would call me and I wouldn't answer the phone or return her calls.) .........
Anyone who has "morgellons", please know that you are not alone. Most sufferers have NO idea what is going on, especially in the beginning. This does affect our personalities. Holing up and becoming reclusive, feeling like you are an outcast, and getting stressed out and suicidal are very common for us "Morgies". This site is a great stress reliever! Let it out and share.
