But SS~
which tests? You know, I'm sure, that you could have many false negatives and never even get a positive and still have Lyme. The two common tests aren't as good as the CD57 and then it has to be sent to the Igenex lab in Cal. Correct?
For 'FUN' one day, I looked up all the individual 'sister' diseases you list above, and basically they are not much different from each other. Most importantly, for all are stated that 'they' don't know what causes them and 'they' don't have a cure.
My question is, what are we paying 'them' for anyway? To diagnose and give medication the insurance companies cover? Ummmm...a rhetorical question.
I think they are basically caused by the same thing, only land in the weakest area in your body and manifest themselves there, thus a new disease is born.
What amazes me is how parasitic organisms are never considered to be the problem. Duhhh.....we dunno....we're only doctors. All we know is how to prescribe medication.
I know I told this story about the Lyme 'specialist' I recently visited who hadn't even heard of the CD57. It didn't matter to him since he knew insurance wouldn't cover that test if it wasn't the currently acknowledged and approved test. I told him I didn't care if insurance covered the treatment. He didn't like that. In fact he didn't like me. I didn't like him, so we're even. He saw a slight redness to my skin (I am 61 soon and have been in the sun most of my life, so I might have a tad sun damage...but I AM part Irish) Mind you I was TANNED at the time, so who the heck could see much red?...So, he said I might have Lupus. I almost laughed him out of the office. After looking it up at home, I have NONE of the other symptoms.... What a sad excuse for a 'specialist' of ANY disease. Just another way to get more business. Well ya know what, Doc? I'm a QUACK SPECIALIST.....and you are diagnosed as such!!! |
