From an interview of the producer of "under our skin", it was noted that 7 out of 10 Alzheimers patients are actually infected with the Lyme spirochete in the brain.
If they were treated with Strong Antibiotics, it may kill the spirochete or some of it allowing memory and behavior improvement allowing them to get them out of the LOCKED Alzheimers units.
I have worked in nursing homes and the Alzheimer patients do get ANGRY, VIOLENT, and OUT OF CONTROL. Some have screaming rages. All the symptoms of lyme infected brains.
As Lyme rates increased in the 90's and into the next century, SO have the number of Alzheimers patients. There IS a correlation to the rising numbers of people diagnosed with Alzheimers and the increasing Lyme infections. It's just that they are not testing Alzheimers patients for Lyme and treating them.
This is sad for both patient and Family. It's not just the patient who suffers.
