I feel like Al Pacino in Godfather III - the more I stay away, they suck me in!!

I was diagnosed with Mono in 9th grade (1982) after another tick bite and no connection was made at the time of hospitalization. Later, they said Hypothyroidism!! I took Levothroid for 6 years and then decided to change diet and workout routine. I had 2 healthy boys 18 mths apart and was tested and do not have hypothyroidism. I knew that this darned Lyme's was the reason for the mono and thyroid after I was diagnosed. I have been overly healthy for 20 yrs except for exhaustion and fog, but both of those put me over the edge as a type A CPA who could do the work of 5 each day. Ginger and the CA crew told me that my immune system was on auto pilot fighting the borreliosis. When I had a few bad bouts of acne and other bacterial issues in my late 20s (first time in life), they put me on minocycline. I did well until I went off each time.

It's so complex. Health is all encompassing and when you have little ones to tend to each day, you end up taking care of yourself last. It has to be first.
