Default Sterility from GM corn?

The following link is to a site that discusses a recent Austrian study (with a link to the actual study) that exposes a clear association between the consumption of GM corn and sterility (which may be the one you were referring to SS). This study is one of the few long term studies done on the effects of eating GM foods and the results clearly don’t support the propaganda that GM foods are safe. The reason there are no real long term studies on GM foods is because the FDA has allowed these mutated “foods” into the food supply without ANY testing for safety or effects on health. This is due to the joint “biotech” industry / FDA scam of “substantially similarity” I discussed in an earlier post on this thread that allows these products to be put into the food supply without testing if they are “considered” to be “substantially similar” to their non-GM counterparts (and the FDA allows the companies performing these mutations to do the testing to determine the “similarity”).

I think the increase in chronic diseases in the last several years could very well be directly tied to the introduction of GM foods into our food supply (obviously including Morgellons as well as many other chronic medical conditions). These genetically modified “foods” contain known toxins (as in Bt crops) and foreign proteins that the bodies of animals and humans have no ability to digest or use properly. However, the FDA has made it practically impossible to prove any harm caused by these products by its deliberate failure to perform its core mission of ensuring that our food supply is safe by properly testing these products before approving their use. Sadly, the FDA and the “biotech” industry are using the human population of America and other countries as the long term testing ground of these GM “foods”.

This link also has information on how Monsanto tried to block the study from being conducted and some additional analysis of what the study means. Here’s the link with a brief excerpt:

Monsanto Tried to Block Austrian Government Funded Research Showing GE Corn Causes Infertility

In one study design where mice were continuously breeding, more mice fed on GM maize NK603 x MON810 had no litters or produced less offspring after the third or fourth litters, than those fed on conventional maize. The differences were statistically significant.

Similar results were obtained in a multi-generational study, where the parental generation was fed with either GM or non-GM maize and successive generations bred. Although the differences did not reach statistical significance in any one generation, the trend was clear - average litter size and weight as well as number of weaned pups were better in mice fed non-GM maize.

According to Greenpeace, Monsanto's GM maize NK603 x MON810 has been approved for planting and food use in a variety of countries, including the US, Argentina, Japan, Philippines and South Africa. In Mexico and the European Union, it is approved for food and feed use.
