Anything new? Thanks for posting this, Neicy.
Last year was a wonderful event, but I am wondering if this year's will be anything but a rehashing of what we all know already?
The only "new" information that I am aware of is the research being done by the MRF.
Not one representative from the major news networks attended (with the exception of a small local tv news show).
I hope that an all out effort to get national media attention is made.
I also hope that something NEW comes out - going to a conference in Texas to hear the same things could be more easily accomplished by purchasing the DVD for $30 and staying home and watching it.
Also, the selection of the presenters at the conference reflected the destructive devisiveness that exists in the research community. They need to have ALL elements of the research represented, and that includes Dr. Amani (dental toxicity), Dr. Staninger (nanotechnology), and anyone else who's been left out.
They should follow Obama's style of inclusiveness and putting the best minds together to solve this horrible problem.
