Many physicians are not aware of the complexities of tick-borne diseases.
And this has spread to other insects besides ticks... it is now being spread by other insects. Mosquitoes?
I live in northern New Mexico, a place where they say you can not get Lymes disease. Yet, I test positive for Lymes.
I look forward to the results of the ninth annual ILADS 2008 conference and to what Entomologist Willie Burgdorfer, who discovered the Lyme bacteria we know as Borrelia burgdorferi or Bb, has to say.
