Jo,

I'd been using tea water on my arm. I picked open afew scabs and applied directly as well. All was fine. later that evening, my arm began to itch and burn for no reason I can think of. Not after application or anything that makes sense. I applied more to help stop the itch, but it didn't. I had to spray with hydrogen peroxide until the critter spots were white and hard. Then it really hurt and stung, of course. I applied DSP and it stopped everything.

I personally think the salt itself does the job and the green tea finishes it off.
when I used the teabag soaked in salt water, it really seemed to be more effective. I'm now thinking of doing same and adding baking soda as well.

A formidable trio, I would think.
