I was originally told, by a gentleman from South Africa that Morgellon's is the by-product of reverse transcriptase recombinant DNA technology where they combined one strand of DNA from a cotton plant and one strand of DNA from a silk worm.
The idea was to make the cotton plant more resistant to the damaging effects of the silkworm.
Not sure if it's true, couldn't find any evidence to support it but I'm still looking.
