I tried Mitacin early on when my symptoms first started last spring, notice I'm still here. I do wonder sometimes though if the products I used early on can be credited with the fact that I didn't continue to get lesions or if its just the way the organism works, (different symptoms on different systems). When my symptoms started I used both Mitacin and Dexoprin, one after the other when the first didn't work. For months I carried spray bottles with me and I sprayed myself (at home, in the car, in the bathroom at work, in a restaurant), numerous times a day as well as every time I felt movement anywhere. My co-workers thought I'd gone "buggy"

I also sprayed "Bug Arrest" (enzyme pet product for ticks, mites & fleas) directly into the initial lesion constantly and carried that with me spraying myself for months as well. In the lesion, I think the Bug Arrest dehydrated anything living and it healed up after about 2 months leaving nothing but a small bulls-eye scar. I still use the Bug Arrest product but never felt the Mitacin or Dexoprin were worth purchasing a second time.
If I had as many 2 cents as I have opinions ....
