Default Povidone Iodine kills surface fuzz

Hi everyone,

I've found an inexpensive and effective treatment for our outer skin.
After a recent encounter with a hospital and being slathered down with betadine I noticed something. There was a mass exodus of the fishing line type entitites wherever they put this stuff on my skin.

Then after reading about hookworm I ran across a link which stated that lugol's solultion will kill infective hookworm larvae.

Lugol's is a clear form of iodine. Well, I didn't have any lugol's or any cash to
buy some so I used some drug store Povidone Iodine which I had on hand in my bath water. This stuff is bright orange and will stain if not careful but the biofilm of whatever lives in or on our skin disappeared from my feet and legs.

Then a little later on I put on some rubber gloves, trying to be mindful of my clothes as not to stain and put this all over my scalp. I used a towel on pillow case to not stain. After it dries it's not that bad.

Well, this stuff is amazing at killing whatever is living in or on our skin.

Only costs a few bucks. I'm going to try and find some clear iodine today.

Here is the link regarding the Lugol's and it killing the infective larva in the lab.

It is on page 192 of "Laboratory Safety"
