Default orange stuff

The color orange...

I've talked to several members who have found long orange fibrous wormy looking things in their vehicles and environment.

Last fall I accidently left a white sheet in the backyard. A few days later I went to pick it up I noticed an orange (fibrous...fungus, spongy, a web?) looking blob growing on the sheet. It was dome shaped, like a golf ball cut in half. I peeled it off with tongs (it lost it's shape because it was "woven" into the cotton sheet) and put it in a big jar with a tight lid. After 24 hours it had faded from bright orange to a pale pink. I don't know if it faded due to little oxygen or, because it was no longer in the sun.

I gave this sample to Clifford Carnicom the first time I met with him. I'll have to ask him if he ever looked at it.

I've never seen this bright color of orange from mother nature. It was a synthetic color.

Now when i use the clothes line I make sure to spray my cloths down with the eco-vie or bug arrest while outside.

Jo, I hope you can figure this out. And Kritts, I'll check out your lyme post.

In the white light,
