Hey Carla, I just read this post and it actually made me giggle.
I'm not sure that "all" of the background noise is because of the disease. I have three children, and I know how overwhelming it can be to raise them, especially when there's not an excellent Dad around to help lighten the load.
My kids used to get so angry at me........after they said "Mama" a half dozen times to get my attention and couldn't, they would shout "Deniece!", it worked everytime. I seriously believe that's just a defense mechanism we Moms have to keep from going insane!!
Are you taking Albendazol? I just started it yesterday, and I have noticed a numb tingly feeling since about 30 minutes after the first dose.
I know it's hard to raise children, but trust me, it's the single most important thing you will ever do in your life. You will never regret anything you do for your children. And one day they will have children of their own, and you will know what it feels like to be a grand-ma........there's a reason they named us "grand" parents.
To have this disease while in the middle of raising your children is an absolute horror, but you are strong, and you will make it. I would help you if you didn't live so far away.....but know that you are in my heart, I think you are just about the kindest person that I have ever met, including face to face. LOL
Chin up ole girl........there is coming a day in the near future when we will all be throwing one more hellacious party!!!
Niecy
XOXOXO

Does anyone seem to be unconnected to whats going on around them.
Its hard to explain but I hear someone calling my name but it doesnt register in my head.It just appears to be background noise to me .This drives my kids mad because they think I m ignoring them all the time.
