Which brings tears again, for i miss them still. And yet there is still more that i learned, bent over them wearing a headlight flashlight and using a fine tooth comb. We hiked the hills everyday for many years, and on there skin....from one lesion to another, skin bump to skin bump....their was a tiny trail of red. I could find and follow it and i would drop silver on it. The idea, of one trail leading to another location of invasion is the understanding i concluded from following the red pathways. My perception was that this was just under the skin, and could be removed from the skin, at any stage of development. Preventing exposure and moment of development ,in them and in me.....is still something i am trying to understand.
