Hi ya Franky,
Thanks, I understand. Ummm...guess my request had quite a narrow focus.
A few of you will know that I've been training to be a health care professional.
In lectures on health I've learnt that we need to consider people's physical, emotional/mental and spiritual health - because they are all interlinked and impact on each other when compromised.
This disease really does a triple wammie on all three.
Could it be 'Crisis' support, instead of 'spiritual' support? - we could put suicide watch tels and other organisations that can help with emotional/mental/spiritual support. We could also include housing support orgs, financial crisis centers etc.
People could give positive mental attitude coaching, meditation techniques, relaxation tips. And Niecy, yeh cool, people can pray for others, just like they are already - I actually think this is one reason for the peace around here (JMO).
Just trying to plug some possible gaps with these ideas. What does anyone else think?
cheers
