Default Tick Paralysis

Lady C, A 7 year old girl was taken to a doctor and was diagnosed with ascending motor paralysis ( problem walking, unbalanced ) . Brain surgery was scheduled. In the hospital a nurse spotted a small tick embedded in the girls neck and removed it. The diagnosis was changed to Tick Paralysis. Tick Paralysis ... A chemical substance that attacks the nervous system (neurotoxin). The neurotoxin is secreted by the salivary gland of the tick. Extended exposurer to the toxin (by the carrier) will cause paralysis.
