Wow, good find Carla. Scary for those in the US too. I wonder sometimes is there is anyone in charge with any common sense about anything which is done in any country today.

Think I know the answer to that one and it will be money who is in charge of making decisions. It seems to be the way of the world today. Robin Hood, where are you? Corporations and govenments are taking from the poor and giving to the rich. Coroporations or governments, all picking the pocket of the little guy. And if what they decide hurts the populations (such as why worry about foot and mouth disease, just put labs out in the cattle area, don't worry, be happy) but enriches them somehow, prudence seems to fall by the wayside. Here's the latest on the pay increase and bonus for the top Exxon CEO:

And here's what the Congress and the folks who plan the largest tax increase ever on Americans of every income level in the year 2009 are planning (are they fooling the voters this year by granting a paltry sum of refunded cash from the treasury under the guise of an economic stimulus package so they can be sure to be re-elected?):
