It is rather expensive but it is concentrated and it is a true colloid and is not ionic like the one you tried – sovereign silver. From what I have read the colloids like MESOSILVER are the TRUE colloidal silver. I buy a gallon at a time as it is much cheaper but a little goes a long way.
Recently my husband came home with a mystery virus and he turned bright red like a tomato. I googled it and came up with scarlet fever … as one of the symptoms looks like a very bad sunburn. Well I mega-dosed him with 4 tablespoons 3x a day and within 3 days his high fever and nightsweats had abated. However no one else in the family came down his mystery virus and that I attribute to MESOSILVER.
I use it for everything and cannot recommend it highly enough as it is like having a second immune system. I have been using it for five years now and I am not mama smurf – I am not blue. As for parasites I read that most have a 30 day cycle so you would have to take a couple of teaspoons for at least that long. Collodial silver will kill all fungus, virus, bacteria and parasites so you don’t really have to wonder wonder what disease you have as it is equal opportunity as it kills ‘em all but not the beneficial bacteria. However a good probtic will take care of that if you are concerned about good bacteria die off – just take it a couple of hours apart. I believe that prevention is worth a pound of cure which is why I take a small amount of silver daily.
Kritters, I believe that a small amount of silver is not toxic to anyone as long as it is used judiciously - although the dose for small babies would have to be adjusted according to bodyweight. The only side affect from too much silver is turning blue – and that is cosmetic only. I myself would rather be blue than dead but that is a personal opinion only. Although I would think that you would have to drink gallons of MESOSILVER daily and cost alone would preclude that.
Dosage
The dosage for Mesosilver is typically between one teaspoon (5mL) and one tablespoon (15mL) daily to help maintain health. One to four tablespoons taken 4 times per day may be taken to help fortify the immune system when needed. Actual dosage will vary based on individual needs. A 500 mL bottle will provide a one month supply when used at a dosage of one tablespoon per day.

olloidal Silver Toxicity Study
Purest Colloids, Inc. hired one of the leading independent laboratories in the U.S. to do a toxicology study on our colloidal silver product, Mesosilver. The test, called an LD-50 test, was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) Regulations, 16 CFR 1500. In the test work, the Mesosilver was given to a number of both male and female test animals. The amount of Mesosilver given to the animals was 5g/kg of 20 ppm colloid, or the equivalent of a 200-pound man taking 30 tablespoons at one time (the normal adult dosage is between one teaspoon and four tablespoons/day). As a result of the test work, the independent laboratory made the following conclusion, “Under the conditions of this study, there was no mortality or significant evidence of toxicity observed in the rats. The test article Mesosilver would not be considered toxic at a dose of 5g/kg by oral route in the rat.”
