OUTSTANDING POST Carla,
Are we encouraged because someone like Erin has decided to report on our illness?
Are we hoping to inspire her to investigate more and take things a bit further? Is this the catalyst we need to actually produce some effective action and results?
Individual e-mails, or comments surely are a good idea. Wondering also if anyone (especially those experienced with this sort of thing) sees advantages in a collective approach -- is it unrealistic to hope that this might tip the scales more in our favor?
Would she be interested enough “to walk even a quarter of a mile in our shoes”? Does she fully understand the world-wide ramifications and potentials of this disease as it is continues to be “swept under the carpet”, “down-played”, “mis-labeled”, and unresolved? Did she report on this merely to just follow suit with the recent media attention or is she actually becoming more interested in discovering all that this disease entails?
What advice could be offered for those trying to "adjust" to living with an illness which currently can not be defined and has no cure……. meanwhile watching those dearest to us (our family, our friends, our animals, our neighbors, ……one by one….. also become infected?
Where are the courageous souls willing to take a closer look -- those who feel led to pursue this -- those who are more interested in discovering the truth, those whose actions are not prioritized by "how best to line their pockets"?
Tune in for the answers posed by Rocklady and others in our next episode of...........As the Morgellon turns.
couldn't resist RL...hope you don't mind the humor. It just may take someone like Erin to dig into this. If the movie based on her is accurate, she will be tenacious and cares about people.
xoxo
