Well, that has nothing to to with the desease it self. Artemisin, which is a substance extracted from a plant knows as Artemisiae annuae or Qing Hao, improves the blood circulation (Durchblutung) of the body. It's one of the known effects. There are other, cheaper and non-poison substances and herbals with similar effects on the blood circulation... (like Ginkgo - "Ginkgo biloba" for example)
