I heard about this from my communications teacher at the beginning of the semester and was intrigued. So I did research about it and decided to give an informative speech about it. It made me very angry (suprisingly--I didn't think I was so passionate about it lol) when another person in his speech said Morgellons isn't real.
Then I found out I had to do a term paper and presentation about this disease for my science, and I thought I'd take the easy route and do the same thing twice. However, for the science paper, I needed some scientific journal/magazine articles, and most of the opinions I found from them are that this is a delusion, and that really pissed me off. So now I'm going to try to get as much word out there as I can. I want to try to do something that will make the general public respond and spur the CDC to stop dragging their feet and do something.
Thank you all so much for your support and sharing your stories with me.
