Would you say the word s**t is a "curse" word? how about "freaking"? I mean, I'm all for the cleaning up severe "curse" words, but we are all adults here, are we not? I don't think the average poster here uses obsene expletives on a regular basis. There will be times when the above words are used stemming from anger and frustration at this hideous situation we are in, but I'm more inclined to think it vulgar if someone accosts or insults another poster.

I remember receiving a 'reprimand' from another poster and for the life of me I can't think of what I said that was so wrong. The two words I mention above are commonly used amongst some of the finest, most educated, genteel people around. I realize that there are some religious posters who may cringe, but I'm sorry....some words are just too commonly used among various groups of people to strike people with horror when read on a forum.

I realize as I write this I will get flak and so be it, but I had to speak my mind here.

Horrifically foul words like f**k have been written here and guess what? People know what the intended word is. It's no secret, esoteric word. Granted it makes ME cringe when I read it, but it's still there.

As I said, I think mild "curse" words should be overlooked given the fact that this is a forum composed of people from all walks of life. I say lighten up a bit about this.

I'm not referring to the posts from Al or any other as bad, but it did click a note with me.

This is just my opinion, which is important to only me.
