Yes, I have anxiety problems that started with this, and mine are not a result of the mental and emotional task of dealing with this thing. I have had much worse things to deal with and never before had anxiety attacks in my life, so I believe it is definitely a physical part of this. Our brains are affected just as every other area. I'm thinking it's something our brain doesn't know how to handle since it's foreign. (Just my weird way of thinking...and not necessarily true) The brain is a very complex thing and a lot smarted than we know.
Once I determined this as being the case, and have every reason to believe so, I am not as affected by anxiety. I immediately acknowledge it for what it is and direct my mind to happy and productive thoughts. Again...the brain is powerful.
So store up a repertoire of happy thoughts to pull out when this happens.
