Verbal, I believe DE stands for Diatomaceous Earth (although I'm personally more familiar with the abbreviation's use when it refers to "Dead End"). A google seach on diatomaceous earth will give you far more info on it than I can, but I've noticed a lot of people talking about sprinkling it around to help alleviate parasites (I think). There are grades of it that can be used as a food additive (more pure I would guess). |
