Re: making the body more alkaline Hi LC,
Swanson's has a sale on Nature's Way chlorophyll with mint, 16 oz for $5.25 which may save you some, if you do not mind the addition of mint. Chlorophyll is not very tasty to me, so the added mint would be welcome addition if I were to use it. Using green liquids or powders has always been tricky for me, as so many of them are cooling to the body. Blue green algae gives me stomach aches as does spirulina. I think the way to find out about some nutritionals is through trialing to see how it affects you. Everyone has a different body chemistry so what works for one, may not for someone else. The old saw which says one man's meat is another man's poison is so often true. In general, I think eating greens is a good idea (southerners have this right, pass those collards, mustard and turnip greens please), as in modern life so many people ignore greens and other vegetables. And the body does need chlorophyll so supplementing green food intake with liquid chlorophyll sounds as if it could be a good idea.
best,
tcm
