The CDC has done nothing in the past year to investigate Morgellons. We cannot all continue to wait for them to "save" us. We all need to get involved. Please check out the advocacy pages at
www.morgellons.org for tips on what you can do to help.
Please write letters to your US Senators and Congressmen and phone them. Please write the CDC (not by email since they only keep track of faxes and snail mail). If you've done it before, please try again. There are sample letters on the Morgellons site and instructions on how to do this. Please ask your friends and relatives to write. If you can, donate to the MRF -- they are funding scientists who are researching the disease. Reach out to scientists at the major universities in your state -- contact the microbiology department if they have one -- and ask them to get involved in researching the disease. Contact your state health department and educate them about the disease.
